Q. Do your rates include in-state calls made within the U.S.?
A. 10-10-220 domestic rates apply to all domestic calls, including state-to-state, in-state and local toll calls.

Q. Are there any monthly plan fees?
A. You'll find NO monthly plan fees with 10-10-220. As with any long-distance call, applicable taxes and Federal Universal Service Fees are assessed.

Q. Does 10-10-220 have LEC Billing fee?
A. You'll find NO LEC Billing fee with 10-10-220. As with any long-distance call, applicable taxes and Federal Universal Service Fees are assessed.

Q. What's the rate when my domestic call is under 10 minutes?
A. Dial 10-10-220 and it's $1.50 for all calls up to 10 minutes and 25 a minute after that. This applies to state-to-state, in-state and local toll calls, and is on a per call basis. These great rates apply 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Q. Why is there an additional per minute charge to call mobile phones in some countries?
A. Due to increased costs imposed by some overseas telephone companies, an additional per minute charge will apply to international calls to mobile phones, pagers and other wireless devices for certain countries. This international mobile termination (IMT) fee varies by country and will be added to the cost of the call. An "M" will appear in the call detail portion of your bill indicating which calls terminated to wireless devices. The IMT fee does not apply to regular international calls to non-wireless or landline numbers, or to domestic calls. Please click here for country specific rates.

Q. How will I be billed for 10-10-220 calls?
A. If Telecom*USA has a billing agreement with your local carrier, charges for 10-10-220 calls will automatically appear on your local telephone bill in a section labeled "Telecom*USA". Your local telephone bill will include the date, time, number, city/ country called, length and charge for each call, along with applicable taxes and Federal Universal Service Fees. Telecom*USA will bill you directly if we do not have a billing agreement with your local carrier.

Q. How long will it take before the charges appear on my phone bill?
A. 10-10-220 charges usually appear on your phone bill within 1 or 2 months from the time you make the call. They'll be on a separate page or section labeled "Telecom*USA". The numbers "220" appear in the "Place Called" field to help you identify those calls.

Q. What is the Federal Universal Service Fee?
A. The 1996 Telecommunications Act requires all long distance companies to contribute a portion of their revenues to the Federal Universal Service Fund which provides discounted telecommunications services to schools, libraries and low income consumers. Telecom*USA's Federal Universal Service Fee is a 16.6% charge on state-to-state and international monthly long distance charges, which is used to help contribute to this fund. This charge will appear separately on your bill.

Q. Is 10-10-220 available in my area?
A. 10-10-220 is available in most areas of the U.S, excluding Alaska. You can check availability in your area by dialing 10-10-220 on your next long distance call.  If your call goes through, 10-10-220 is available in your area. If your call does not go through, either 10-10-220 is not available in your area or there is a block affecting your phone line. Contact Telecom*USA by calling 1-800-540-3598 to determine if there is a blcok that prevents you from using 10-10-220.

Q. Is 10-10-220 available in for calls initiated outside of the United States?
A. No. 10-10-220 is available only for calls initiated within the continental U.S. and Hawaii.

Q. Can I use 10-10-220 from any phone?
A. 10-10-220 can be used from your home telephone, some small business telephones and fax machines. Unfortunately, it is not available from pay phones, cell phones, hotel rooms, dormitories, military bases or most businesses.

Q. What is a 10-10 number?
A. 10-10-220 is a long distance code that gives you freedom to make a long distance call at great rates, without having to switch your long distance carrier. By dialing 10-10-220 before 1 and the number, your call goes over your carrier's network and will show up on your local phone bill.

Q. How do I use 10-10-220?
A. Just dial 10-10-220 then 1 + area code + phone number for calls within the US and to Canada (and all other countries that use an area code). For international calls, dial 10-10-220 then 011 + country code + phone number.

Q. To use your service do I need to switch long distance companies?
A. No, you can use 10-10-220 without switching your long distance company. Simply dial 10-10-220, then 1 + number for calls within the US and to Canada. For international calls, dial 10-10-220 then country code + phone number. 

Q. Do I need to keep a long distance carrier to use 10-10-220?
A. Generally, you do not need a long distance carrier to use 10-10-220. You should contact your local phone company, however, to determine whether or not you will be assessed a fee if you opt not to subscribe to a long distance carrier.

Q. Are calling cards available?
A. No, 10-10-220 is a long distance access code for calls made from home. Calling cards are not available.
